There are many, many things I love about my dad. Most recently I love how he has taken this opportunity of having "too much time on [his] hands" to find a new passion and pursue it to the fullest...it's also a great bonus that he has something else in common with my fiance. I wonder what I will get him for a present when he makes it to his late 60s without an accident?.....
I obviously have too much time on my hands. So, I thought I would be productive and learn a bit about blogging by setting up my own crude blog and "have at it'. Rather than a boring ramble about whatever comes into my head I thought I would do a boring ramble on my most recent passion - motorcycling, and more specifically, my experiences with my Ducati Multistrada.
I have owned my bike for over a year now, and have ridden over 15,000 miles since May 8, 2006, when the BCM Ducati van drove up my driveway and Miles English, the Mr. Clean look-alike contest winner and BCM Parts Manager deposited a shiny new red 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS outside my garage. Miles rolled the bike out of the back of the van, showed me around the bike, wished me luck, and drove off. Since then, it has been an absolute blast and a continuing learning experience. I will occasionally reminisce, but mainly I want to use this blog to record my experiences going forward.

Thanks, Stephie. I am sure you will think of something good.
